Cllr Maurice Skilton is battling for better bus services

Local Lib Dems are campaigning to improve local bus services after residents complained about cuts to services and changes to routes.

One local resident said, "The operators only seem to be interested in an ever decreasing number of routes that make a profit and do not care for people who rely on the buses".

Lib Dem Cllr Maurice Skilton is leading the battle for action to protect and improve our bus services.

Cllr Maurice Skilton said, "Many local people rely on bus services and their voice needs to be listened to. I want to see better information for customers at bus stops including route information. The bus companies should also consider introducing a flat priced day ticket to encourage people to make more journeys by bus."
