Assertions from Langney Conservatives that the gate into Eastbourne Crematorium could not be opened have been proved wrong. After comments from people in the area , Lib Dem campaigners contacted the local council and they have agreed to re-open the gate.

Local campaigner Troy Tester said "Lib Dems take action to resolve real concerns and issues that people have. Others just talk about the problems but do nothing to sort them out."

"People can once again use this gate to visit loved ones rather than facing a tiring journey by foot."
