"Where has the play equipment gone?" ask Cllr Olive Woodall and Cllr Mary Pooley

Lib Dem Councillor Mary Pooley has challenged Conservative run Eastbourne Borough Council to provide more facilities for Toddlers at the play area at Hampden Park.

Currently, there are gaps where play equipment has been taken way and not replaced.

It is still necessary for youngsters (and their Mums & Dads) to go 200 metres to the café toilet, when there is an unused toilet adjacent to the play area. This was closed during the last Tory administration and is now a target for graffiti with a roof that is gradually falling apart!

Mary Pooley has challenged the council to get this facility repaired and back into use!
