Cllr Mary Pooley enjoys Hampden Park

Hampden Park Councillor Mary Pooley has stated that she will fight against any plans to further encroach on Hampden Park. Mary added "Already we are seeing a lack of investment in children's playing facilities at the park with the removal of some amusements from the children's play area."

Now there is the threat of further encroachment into the park. Already houses have been built on the old council Nursery area between the park and Kings drive. Mary is determined to fight any plans for further building in our beautiful park - "I will defend the right of Hampden Park residents to enjoy this unique area."
