Eastbourne Lib Dems held a Thank You Party for all their local election helpers at the Blind Centre in Eastbourne last weekend. It was a very positive and uplifting event and the guests were delighted to welcome two newly elected councillors to the Lib Dem Borough Group.

Stephen Lloyd, parliamentary candidate, said: "I am very pleased that we have two such young, talented councillors joining the Lib Dem Group on Eastbourne Borough Council. Both Cllr Steve Wallis and Cllr Troy Tester will bring real enthusiasm to their job in serving all the local residents in Devonshire and Langney. I am delighted at their election success"

Kay Dewick, Chair of Eastbourne & Willingdon Liberal Democrats added: "Troy and Steve are terrific campaigners. They will also add depth and energy to our council group leader David Tutt's team. A great result which would not have occurred without the unstinting effort put in by so many of our local supporters".
