Three applications for thousands of new homes at Polegate have been refused by the Council.

Local Lib Dem District Councillor Andy Watkins said: "These applications were rightly refused. We have yet to hear whether the developers will appeal or whether other applications will be submitted."

Willingdon Lib Dems have consistently been against further development on our green land and we are concerned that there could now be housing development in Willingdon.

Willingdon & Jevington Parish Council Chairman Councillor Tony Seabrook added: "Lib Dem campaigners need to stay alert to future housing plans of this kind."
