Lib Dem campaigners are calling for more parking wardens to deal with the illegal parking that is causing havoc across our area.

In roads such as The Avenue and Old Orchard Road many cars park illegally, causing real problems with traffic. In narrow roads like Wharf, Brightland and Greys Road the illegal parking often blocks access for emergency vehicles.

Campaigner Alex Hough said: "Illegal parking is becoming a nightmare. Parking Wardens are the answer - not an expensive 'Pay to Park' scheme that the Conservatives are trying to introduce."
