Lighting for Filching Road Park

Andrew Goodwin is calling for better lighting to be installed at the park by Filching Road and Palesgate Way.

This follows complaints from local residents about their children's safety when it's dark. Old Town campaigner Andrew said, "In an area full of families with children, it is dangerous for our children to be playing in the park in the evenings, when there is no lighting to help them keep safe."

"The street lights are too far away to make any difference and I worry that children could be hurt."
