Local Lib Dems are calling for safety measures to the dangerous crossing at the corner of Southfields Road and The Goffs.

"The crossing is too wide", says local Campaigner Rebecca Madell. "Pedestrians are faced with four streams of traffic and a blind corner. Something must be done, before more accidents happen."

Upperton Campaigner Pat Rodohan has already written to Eastbourne Highways, asking for the Tory County Council to take action immediately.

Pat asks residents who are concerned about the crossing to write and complain to Eastbourne Highways, at 68 Grove Road, Eastbourne, BN21 4UH.
