Stephen Lloyd today led a demonstration against the Conservative's plans to introduce expensive parking charges in Eastbourne.

Dozens of Lib Dem campaigners from across Eastbourne descended on the town centre. Some were dressed up as 'Stealth Tax Collectors', getting people to sign our 'NO to Pay to Park' petition.

Eastbourne Campaigner Stephen Lloyd said, "People in Eastbourne have said time and time again they simply do not want these charges introduced. Over 9 out of 10 people surveyed by the local paper said no. In May the people voted out the Conservative-run Borough Council and replaced with a Lib Dem Council, who are determined to fight these parking charges all the way."
