Lord Tom McNally, Leader of the Liberal Democrats in the House of Lords, visited Eastbourne last weekend to give his backing to the Lib Dem campaign for the County Council.

Speaking at a fundraising lunch at the Hydro Hotel with local supporters, Lord McNally said, "Stephen Lloyd and the Lib Dems are clearly standing up for Eastbourne and campaigning to get things done. I wholeheartedly back their campaign to scrap the undemocratic parking charges and to improve the County Council's services."
